Introducing a completely new generation of composite bat: The Dub. With a hot look to match its performance, this is the must-have bat of the season.
The Dub is the first baseball bat to feature Easton's patented Double Barrel technology. We won't dive into the nitty-gritty of the engineering here, but this technology combines a lower-compression outer barrel and a more durable inner barrel — and that means a bigger sweet spot and more pop while still meeting USSSA regulations.
The Dub drops on Easton.com on 4/30 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. For your best chance to get a bat during the initial run of inventory, sign up to get VIP access here. The Dub will be available at retailers on May 1.
We'll send you an email and a text message confirming your VIP status and sharing further info about the launch.
We're anticipating a LOT of traffic on the morning of the launch, so in order to make sure our site doesn't crash, we'll be using a virtual waiting room feature. We'll send VIPs a link to a waiting room before The Dub goes live. Once the bats go live, the people in the waiting room will be randomly assigned into a queue.
The site will move through the queue, giving users the chance to access the bat in small groups at a time. Anyone who joins the queue after 10:00 a.m. Eastern will be put in the back of the line, behind all VIPs who were in the waiting room. When it's your turn in line, you'll have 10 minutes to checkout.
We anticipate that these bats will be in extremely high demand, and we cannot guarantee that everyone will get the bat of their choice during the VIP window. If we sell out on our website, we'll send you further instructions on where you can find The Dub at a local retailer, and you'll be able to sign up for restock alerts on our website.
Yes! We are limiting purchases to two bats per order. We hope that this gives more players a chance to get their bat ASAP.
The Dub and the Hype Fire are the two hottest bats in the game, but they use different composite barrel technology to get there. This results in a slightly different feel between the two bats, and finding the right one for your swing comes down to personal preference. You can try out both bats at your nearest D-BAT location, which you can find here.
